That seems a little too structured…for a journal-esque piece of writing anyways.
This weekend was fun. On Thursday afternoon, we left Prep pretty early for All-State. We went to Valentino’s and then we went to the hotel and from there we went to the music building at UNL right away for chair auditions. I was pretty excited becuase I thought my audition was perfect…good enough for first chair. but, appearantly not quite good enough. I ended up in second chair, which still isn’t bad (but it’s not first). Then we just kinda hung out between rehearsals. It’s a fun weekend to go on. The concert went really well and the director they had was awesome. It was definitely one of the best weekends I have had this year.
I still don’t have any of the makeup work done that I am supposed to have done. I think I have a Junior Encounter meeting at 1:15 today..so I will be there, and I can grab my stuff from the band room to do some homework when I get home. If I don’t have the meeting, then to hell with it becuase I only have 2 days until Thanksgiving Vacation…which also reminds me, I am not going to shave despite warnings I recieved as I was walking out the door to go represent Prep at a State Competition, quite unlike the football team who does whatever the hell they please. I am so over high school. haha. I just wanted to post and tell you that this weekend was good.
